Established in 1980, the Emirates Fine Art Society is dedicated to a non-profit organisation. The aim of the organisation is to develop and nurture the young talent of U.A.E at local and international events. Such events also support artists from diverse backgrounds and enable them a platform to perform. The organisation also believes in providing moral support and media support to the young artists. The organisation aims to promote art education among the masses by conducting art workshops, seminars and lectures, in painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, photography and calligraphy. It is one of the best places for vacationers for producing publications and periodicals on fine arts. The headquarters of this society is located in the centre of the Arts Heritage area in House Square in the Art area of Sharjah.
In the year 2020, the Pavilion of the Emirates Fine Arts Society at Expo 2020, Dubai presented a variety of different artworks intending to highlight the development of the artistic movement in the UAE. Each and every artwork which is being displayed here is diverse and different in terms of style, techniques, and concept. There are many pioneering artists and artists from the young generation that are performing such as Dr. Najat Makki, Abdel Rahim Salem, Dr. Muhammad Youssef, Hussein Sharif, Ali Al-Abdan, Kholoud Al-Jabri, and others.
