Overview

Wasit Nature Reserve is one of the environmental projects which aims to create a thriving ecosystem for indigenous flora and fauna by using the wasteland. It is a unique ecosystem along the coastal sand dunes, salt flats, ponds, and a large lake. On your visit to Wasit Wetland Center, vacationers will get to know more about the diversity of the ecosystem along with the sand dunes, salt flats, ponds, and large lakes. The beauty and brain behind this ecosystem got awarded in the year 2019 for pioneering an environmental project. While exploring the ecosystem, there are over 200 bird species and eight hides with binoculars, bird-watchers will enjoy this place to the fullest. 

The ecosystem is designed in such a way that vacationers will also spot the separate reserve for various small mammals, reptiles, and insects, making it an important tourist place for animal lovers. It is not only a different place, but a place where vacationers love to visit and enjoy the day tour to the fullest. Vacationers visit this place from a long way to experience and spot the endangered Arabian oryx. It is one of the loveliest experiences that vacationers love to experience.
