The most common and flexible way to reach the Hajar Mountains is by car. From central Dubai, follow the signs to Hatta, a town located at the foothills of the Hajar Mountains. The drive typically takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on your starting point in Dubai and your destination within the Hajar Mountains.
Reaching the Hajar Mountains from Dubai through public transportation is not an easy cup of coffee for everyone. There are only a limited number of public buses that run from Dubai to Hatta. This service is provided by the Road Transport Authority (RTA).
